Start with your strongest moment: the first note of the set, the line that stopped you, the scene in the room. Pull the reader in before you explain anything.

In the second paragraph, give the essentials: who the artist or band is, what the album or show is, when and where it happened, and why readers should care right now.

A subheading to break up the story

Go deeper. Describe the sound, the musicianship, the crowd, the history. Use specific details a reader could not get anywhere else.

"A strong quote from the artist, a band member or a fan goes here." Name, role in the band

Keep building. If this is an interview, you can switch to a Q&A format:

EVC: Your question goes here?

Artist: Their answer goes here.

Quick Facts

  • Artist: Name
  • Album / Show: Title or venue
  • Released / Date: Date
  • Listen / Tickets: Link

End with a strong closing line: your verdict, what comes next for the artist, or where readers can hear the music or catch the next show.
